A new teaser for the next Black Panther generates interest ahead of the movie’s release later this year. A Kentucky rapper gets a great deal of respect from MTV and Amazon Prime is breathing new life into the classic story told in “A League of Their Own.” A new teaser using a popular Bob Marley song “No Woman No Cry” is capturing a great deal of attention. It is for the forthcoming Marvel Studios sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The original Black Panther in 2018, starring the late Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan brought in $700 million at North American box offices. The next Black Panther will be released in November of this year. Jack Harlow, a Louisville, Kentucky rapper, has done well with the MTV Video Music Award nominations. He scored seven to be tied for first in nomination amounts. The others with that amount are Lil Nas X and Kendrick Lamar. Among his nominations are Artist of the Year and a few nods for his song with Lil Nas X called “Industry Baby.” The 2022VMAs will air live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey on August 28th. Amazon Prime Video is giving us an eight-episode series starting August 12 that was inspired by a 1992 movie that taught us, “There’s no crying in baseball!” The series has the same name, “A League of Their Own,” and it focuses on the all-women baseball league active in the era of World War II. We are told the series introduces entirely new characters separate from the film. Actor Nick Offerman will play the head coach, a role popularized by legend Tom Hanks
