Mid Michigan College’s Education Talent Search program is offering a free STEM camp for local sixth, seventh, and eighth-graders starting July 12.

“This year we’re excited to offer a STEM Camp on Mid’s Harrison Campus,” said Marilee Kujat, Director of ETS at Mid. “Science, technology, engineering, and math-related career opportunities continue to grow in many industries, and we want to give local students hands-on STEM experiences early on in their educations to help them succeed.”

The camp is free, open to all 6th-8th grade students in Clare and Gladwin counties, and will take place on Mid’s Harrison Campus. Students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost and attend 8:30 am-4 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for two weeks, beginning July 12 and ending July 21.

Students do not have to be currently enrolled in ETS to attend. To register a student for this camp, contact Marilee Kujat at (989) 386-6622 x529 or mkujat@midmich.edu.
