On Sunday night, Michigan State Police troopers stopped a vehicle for a moving violation on W Kelly Road near S Blodgett Road in Lake Township. During the stop, the driver, 48-year-old Heath Elhannon Markham from Cadillac, was found to be in possession of meth. Markham was arrested and lodged in the Missaukee County Jail.

He was arraigned today in Missaukee County for one count Possession of Methamphetamine Second Offense, and Habitual Offender Fourth Notice.

His bond was set at $10,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is on July 7 at 1:30 p.m.
