On Thursday evening Michigan State Police troopers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on S 39 Rd and E. Boon Rd in Cadillac in Haring Township. The driver, 34-year-old Adam Michael DeBoer from Cadillac, did not have a valid license and displayed signs of intoxication.

State Police say he was arrested after performing sobriety tests and lodged in the Wexford County Jail.

DeBoer was arraigned in Wexford County for one count Felony Operating While Intoxicated Third Offense, and one count Driving While License Suspended. His bond was set at
$25,000 and his next scheduled court appearance is on June 21 at 2:00 p.m.
