Traverse City Man Charged with Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, More in Traverse City
A Traverse City man was arrested for child sexually abusive material.
The investigation was initiated when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. State Police say several electronic devices were seized from his home during a residential search warrant.
As a result of this investigation, 28-year-old Austin Micheal McKittrick was arrested for child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
McKittrick was charged with three counts of child sexually abusive activity for reproduction of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.
McKittrick was arraigned on Thursday.
