The Michigan State Police Gladstone Post will be celebrating the dedication of a portion of US-2 and 41 as the Darryl M. Rantanen Memorial Highway.

Trooper Rantanen was killed in the line of duty on May 27th, 1974. This ceremony will be held at the Bark River Senior Center located at 4283 D Road in Bark River, on Friday, May 13th, 2022, at 4pm.

The Michigan State Police invites all media outlets to announce this event to invite citizens and area residents to attend this public ceremony.
