Rubble is all that is left after a home explosion and fire in Niles, Michigan early Wednesday morning. A couple who had been staying upstairs in the two-story home managed to jump out a window.

Firefighters say they got out just in time before the structure completely collapsed. The occupants were treated and released from a local hospital.

They are now staying with family members. Firefighters battled to keep flames from spreading to a home next door and a nearby auto dealership. The cause of the explosion and fire is still under investigation.
