Marshall is granted a temporary restraining order against Conference USA.

This comes after the league filed a request for arbitration in the school's bid to leave early for the Sun Belt Conference.  The order stops USA from proceeding with arbitration.  The judge says the order is good for 10 days but could be extended.  Marshall, Old Dominion and Southern Mississippi accepted invitations to the Sun Belt during the fall.  Each school announced earlier this month they are planning to end their memberships with C-USA.  C-USA says all three schools are contractually obligated to stay put for another year. Another hearing is set for March 16th.
