The Brooklyn Nets say star Kyrie Irving will not play or practice with them, including road games until he's vaccinated.

Nets general manager Sean Marks says, “We respect the fact that he has a choice, and right now what’s best for the organization is the path that we’re taking.”

New York City is mandating professional athletes to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to play or practice in public venues.  Irving wasn’t eligible to practice until it was decided the Nets training facility is a private venue.  Marks says he and ownership made the decision through discussions with Irving and his associates.
