Jets offensive tackle Mekhi Becton expected to miss 4-6 weeks

The news is not good for New York Jets offensive tackle Mekhi Becton.
Becton is expected to miss four to six weeks with a knee injury. He sustained it during their 19-14 loss at the Carolina Panthers. One source says he will needs arthroscopic knee surgery to fix damaged cartilage. The 2020 first round pick, out of Louisville was taken to the locker room in the third quarter. The Jets will play their home opener this Sunday taking on the New England Patriots.
