The Antrim County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal accident that occurred on August 31 around 3:55 pm.

The accident occurred on US31 1/8 mile North of Pearl Street in Torch Lake Township.

A 2020 Chevy Trax, driven by 85-year-old Bradley Brown was traveling north on US31 and made a left turn into the East Port foods market.

A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by 25-year-old Christopher Bell was traveling south on US31 and was unable to avoid hitting the Chevy Trax in the rear passenger side door. Bell was killed and the driver and his passenger, 85-year-old Mary Brown were transported to Munson Medical Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor at this time.
