The mural of English national star Marcus Rashford has been restored.

A local street artist repaired the mural after it was vandalized, following England's 3-2 penalty shoot-out loss to Italy in the 2020 Euro final, which took place at Wembley Stadium in London.  Rashford, along with Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed their penalty shots and they were targeted with racist abuse on social media.

Rashford's mural in South Manchester was vandalized with graffiti, but it was later covered with hearts and supportive for the Manchester United forward which left him "on the verge of tears." Rashford had tweeted, he was sorry for missing his penalty shot.
