A movie came to life Tuesday morning when a man hijack a bus in Kinglsey.

It all started when a 24-year-old Luzerne man boarded a bus at a bus stop in the Northland Foods Grocery Store parking lot.

He attempted to take the fire extinguisher out of its holder and the bus driver, fearing for his life, radioed for help and fled.

The man then attempted to steal the bus, but right as he turned east on M-13, he was struck by a car driven by a 29-year-old Manton woman.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash and the woman suffered minor injuries.

The man was also unharmed and is lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
