NATO Joins US in Leaving Afghanistan

WASHINGTON
International group NATO announced they're joining the United States in leaving Afghanistan this year.
On March, 14, 2021 the group, also known as the the North Atlantic Treaty Organization announced that they will begin their withdraw of troops in the region by May 1st.
This echoes the decision made the united states this week to withdraw from Afghanistan by September the 11th of this year.
This week the United Kingdom also announcing that they will be withdrawing forces.
In a joint press conference with U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense secretaries, NATO'S Secretary General Stoltenberg announced NATO will begin to scale back the organization's 10-thousand troops in the region.
